Voge DS900X

Warranty will be worthless for first year at least.

They’ll be flat out making new bikes. There’ll be no spares I can almost guarantee.

The Chinese are not concerned with customer service or reputation. Just pile em high, sell em cheap.

Just a thought for the OP……..maybe the money he’s wasted buying and selling his bikes under 12 months……..he could’ve actually bought the girl of his (wet) dreams. A fully loaded triple black 13 GSA?! lol
😜

Is there anyone here, who has had a warranty claim (preferably a few and/or high value) on a Chinese bike, who could give us some feedback please? I have a completely open mind on the subject and I'm simply interested to know how how easy/difficult it is to get things sorted out?

I was in Bike Treads in Swindon today. They had a Voge 900 there and I really couldn’t find fault with it in terms of style, equipment- everything except adaptive cruise control- and build quality. If I wanted a 200kg+ tourer I’d be test riding one for sure. I found other Chinese brands in the shop, CFMoto and Benelli, less impressive.

Dealer just messaged to say my bike has arrived . Hopefully get it Monday or Tuesday as I’m flying to UK for surgery on Wednesday and won’t be able to ride for a month or so .

Very funny . Zero chance of me wasting £25k on that

What did you find wrong with the build quality ?

My bad writing. Meant the build quality was absolutely spot on. Way better than the 70s and 80s Japanese bikes we now call classics.

Not according to the dealer . They’ve only ever had one other bike they’ve had to fit wheel and bars to.

with taller bikes it is pretty common

by removing the front wheel and wide bars the front of the bike can be dropped so that tall bikes fit into the same size packing case as sports bikes. As you should know, shipping agents like standardised freight in terms of cost and space utilisation.

Makes sense . To be fair my dealer is more used to smaller bikes plus RE. They’ve managed to get me a Voge as they deal with MotoGB as they stock Piaggio too

Think how many extra bikes can be fitted in the container if the bars are off. Pretty sure that saving would not be ignored. Seen quite a few Triumphs turn up like that.
