Went to a Voge dealer a couple of weeks ago to try a DSX900. Was hugely impressed by the appearance of the bike and even looking closely at it, the build quality looked amazing. Sadly, it went downhill from there. Bike supposedly had 3/4 tank of fuel as I left the dealers. Did about 5 miles with the bike riding like a mild bucking bronco, the throttle was awful. Tried all the riding modes, didn't make any difference. Then the fuel gauge went virtually to zero so I thought that might be why it was doing an impression of a kangaroo. Found a garage and put a tenners worth in. Made no difference , the whole way back it was dreadful, in fact, I'd say almost dangerous in slow or stop/start traffic. The salesman greeted me as I got off in the carpark and clearly was expecting me to just say something like, "how long until I can get one" nearly fell over when I told him what happened. I wasn't the first person out on it that day either, several others had ridden it without any complaint so who knows. Anyway, as much as I wanted to like it, I didn't. And yes, the indicators/switchgear are a bit crap too.
