Voge DS900X

Fixed.

Vanity before sanity, as was ever thus is this jaded country.
Why do so many need to be accepted and fit in ?
Go to Europe and all bikers wave , apart from a few , usually Brits, and most likely riding a GS.
When I had my Road King Special, it was based in Uk during Covid . Nobody waved apart from other HD riders .
Ring the bike in France , all the locals wave , whatever they’re riding . Only non wavers usually turn out to be Brits again.
Spot them a mile off, on matching bikes quite often, as they all have to ride the latest Wankpanzer or similar.
It really is bizarre.
you do spout so much shit.

Why do bellends who hate GS bikes stay on a GS forum.

Bunch of thundercunts.

Rubbish, most of the BMW range is also bland to look at and as for Honda that NT1100 couldn't be more horrible looking if they tried
It’s not rubbish. I said ‘a lot of people’ not everyone and certainly not MILLE_RIDER.

Don’t forget, BMW is an aspirational brand, Voge is not. That makes a huge difference to (some) people’s perception. It’s what manufacturers strive for and spend so much money and effort achieving.
The hard bit is maintaining that position. Ask Harley Davidson UK how they’re finding that at the moment.

Why do bellends that hate bellends that hate GSs on a GS forum have to comment if it means nothing.

Bunch of thundercunts. …and yes, by posting I have now qualified as one.

Could someone point out to that hate-filled vitriolic stalking turd that he’s on ignore and will be forever more so he’s wasting his time and would be better off doing something more productive.
Like seeking some counselling for his issues.
Why are there people on here that rarely post anything bike related or even positive yet stalk people and denigrate them for buying something that they see as beneath them due to their self inflated pompous importance ?
If I want to buy a Voge or indeed a Dacia-on which thread this fucking prick is also stalking-then I will.
The fact I post about them is to share info with others .
There’s probably a few on here who might be tempted by especially the Voge given its low price and huge spec.
If you’re not interested then go elsewhere. We don’t need to be told it’s shit . Perhaps even go ride one or at least look at one before denouncing its shit . Saves you making yourself look an even bigger prick than you normally do .
Wasting his time anyway as it would seem I’m not the only one who has pressed the “silence is golden “ button .
It’s a shame such cuńts exist and have driven away many good men like Giles, Andres, Call Centre Chimp etc etc .
But it’s the world we live in .

Depreciation on the Voge will be off a cliff

My hubby’s BMW depreciated 8k in 2 years!! That’s off the cliff too! It’s half what he paid for it. He could have had one of these and given it away free after 2 years and been no worse off!!

What are GS lovers doing moping about in the Chinese Bikes section?
Do you enjoy the feeling of righteous indignation?

Exactly , but certain people on here are so blinkered that they can’t see it .
There’s a roundel on the tank so it’s got to be brilliant . Yet it costs £20k before any luggage, is packed with Chinese components -some GSs are assembled in the Loncin factory alongside my shite Voge.
Blinkered muppetry at its best .

Don’t bother with the vile little turd. He only comes on here to try stir the pot.Pathetic sad ‘man’ with nothing better to do.

I generally ignore his posts, as I do another poster, for similar reasons. However, in this instance I doubt it's the fact that you want to buy something else, more the point that it appears you're often slagging off BMW, and the bikes that many on here own - possibly implying that BMW owners stupid for buying one.

Of course, I could be wrong.
No, it’s not stupid for liking BMW’s. Even I like the designs, just not the quality. However SOME folk are a bit blinkered in the way they view things.

Exactly.
I really liked the way the 1300GS rode when I tested one last year . Don’t mind the looks either . But I did find it smaller than the 1250 so would need a taller seat which would then need a taller screen etc etc .
I love the look of the new F900GS.I prefer the looks to my Voge.
BUT I don’t prefer the price. As an only bike I might well go for a more expensive bike. But the Voge is one of four bikes I have and I’ll be using the others too for different trips.
As I said probably earlier in this thread, my brother has coincidently bought a new 900GS, a week before my Voge turned up and totally unbeknown to me.
He got a ‘great’ deal on it ( VAT-free) and paid £10750 for it.
It is fitted with heated grips and a quick shifter.Thats it…..not even cruise .

At the risk of repeating myself , the Voge came with these extras over his 900

Main stand
Heated seat
Cruise control
Blind spot detection
Emergency braking detection
Forward facing camera
TPMS
Aluminium panniers
Aluminium top box
LED spots

It cost me £7850 OTR so a full £3000 less than his basic bike that only has heated grips and a quick shifter and nothing else.Plus his bike should have been about £ 12000.
Spec it up as close to the Voge as you can and it’s over £15k so pretty much double.

Both bikes share the same wheels/brakes/frame/electronics and motor, albeit the GS has 10 more bhp because the Voge is capped at 95BHP to be A2 compliant.

Now, don’t get me wrong, I didn’t want some of the crap on the Voge like the camera etc.But it’s there .

If I had the GS I would definitely want cruise, a main stand and some luggage , on top of the heated grips and quick shifter. I’m pretty sure it’s not an option to get a heated seat .So spec those bits up and the GS is about £13500/14000.

I can’t see any point in paying a whole £6000 over the Voge for what is pretty much the same bike from the waist down.

If Voge can churn the 900 out for under £8k (VAT-free) then BMW must be making a killing charging double.

But times are changing . People are wising up. The Voge is sold out until at least March next year .

And whilst I reckon the 1300GSA with ASA is probably brilliant it ain’t £26k brilliant, FFS.

For about the same as that I’ve bought all three of these this year :

Now for me they are all different . The Himmy has been to the Picos off-roading and ridden back, a trip that the Voge could do, but not as great off-road.
I’m going to be taking the Himmy to be based in Brittany as soon as I can get it over there. Then I can get the Wing out of storage.
The XSR GP is a feel good sunny day bike but will be blatting around Brittany when I can in 2025.
And the Voge is pencilled in for the big annual trip to Picos/Asturia/Portugal in June.
So three different bikes, costing a grand total of about £26k or one 1300GSA.

I’d rather have the three, others would pick the GSA over Chinese shite, Indian shite and ….er….a Yamaha.
But if either one goes tits up I have two others (ignoring the Wing) to call on.
If yer GSA is needing a recall or similar just as you’re about to go away, you is fucked….

Anyway I’ve waffled far too much. I blame the painkillers .Not even sure I’ve made any valid points. Oh well 😜

Is this the voge thread or a therapy discussion?

By Yamaha, do you mean Jap Crap??😂
Aye, though as it’s fitted with probably the finest motor ever designed purely for a road bike, ie the CP3 triple, and paired with the snickiest quick shifter I’ve ever used, I’d struggle to call it crap….😜

Me too, I was joking.

I would have the DS900X over it's Teutonic equivalent any day.. :beerjug:

But, just don't ask me to wear the Chinese equivalent to a ' twatsuit ' :D
