I would like to change the gearbox and engine oil on my 03 ADV.
I would also like to change the oil in the shaft drive.
Which oil brands and viscosity are recomended?

Is there a guide with pics as to where the drain and filler plugs are?

Engine - anything you like. I use cheap car dirt. Works flawlessly, very very minor oil consumption.

Gearbox and FD - quality oils only and every 10K replace both oils would be my advice! Has to be GL-5 standard for gearbox! (i use the same oil for FD too, btw.) Mine FD done about 40K, lot of gravel, estonian style deep potholes and usual performance beating two up with luggage and works a threat, surprisingly, so far. I guess much to do with good quality transmission oils.

Happy oiling.

This is what I am using in both.

Castrol Syntrax 75W-90
Full synthetic SAE 75W/90, API GL5. manual transmission, transaxle and rear axle lubricant with outstanding extreme pressure, synchroniser and high temperature performance. For vehicles that combine gearbox and hypoid diffs, rear axles of light cars and secondary drive axles of 4WD vehicles.

There is no oil in the shaft drive ?

do you mean the rear bevel drive - use the same oil as the gearbox - what ever gearoil you prefer, but it must be to GL5 spec -
