.Glen Grant is very, very bland IMO. It's OK as an introduction to malts but it's very "watery" and there are far better Speyside malts than that.
Bruichladdich have a bottle called Peat which I have my eye on for an impending heavy dram session in the next couple of weeks.
Thats a bit harsh, agreed its not the best but for £15 quid a bottle its pretty good and certainly better than the Tesco's own types, for a similar price. With the advantage that you can get glen grant anywhere as its the second best selling single malt in the world.
I don't care I like it and almost always have a bottle about the house,![]()

Undoubtably some excellent whiskies there but it's a hundred quid to join (and annually thereafter IIRC). You could get a few nice bottles of malt for that.
For access to the world's widest selection of exclusive limited single cask, single malt whiskies. Plus the tasting events and very best whisky bars in the world.
The annual renewal is £49.50.
You can indeed get a few 'nice' bottles for that, but ...!

That's fine that you like it. I'm surprised by your statement about it being the second best selling single malt in the world. Just goes to show what I know...![]()
