Yes or No?

On my R1100RS they look great, but would I stick 'em on my GS? Er, no. By the way, they are the first bit to break if you forget you've left a disk lock on. DAHMIK. :D

What's a disc lock........................never used one or heard of it.............sounds a totally stupid idea................locking a disc, surely it is meant to go around with the wheel:nenau

can't see the point of them really

you're just putting a nice painted surface in front of metal.

they'll look very second hand after a few months.

Try satin black - at least you can spray them over yourself to freshen them up.

I like them. I think it improves the aesthetics.

From the front, the GS has a tippy Sydney the Elephant look, the adventure being the maximum example. Adding some visual heft to the lower legs goes a long way to removing the ultimate muffin top look.

Where'd you get them JB?

From a breakers, Motorworks.......................a few years ago and stashed them at the back of the garage

Decided to paint them last week, when I had the Beak refinished in Kalahari Yellow

yep,:thumb anything that covers those fugly 1100 fork legs is a bonus.....personally don't like the monkey piss yellow bikes, get the whole bike painted in red then fork leg protectors in black:blast

:hide;)

I think I may have put it a little better but I have to agree, motorbikes should come in one of two colours, Black or Red. ;-)

The colour coded fork protectors really break up the long odd looking forks of the GS1100 which is one of my pet hates. I tried to love the GS11 when I wanted a GS to begin with but the forks spoiled the front end look and I held out for the 1150 just for that reason... IMO of course :nenau

I say "keep-em mate"! :thumb2 They look the part

Feck me.................Judgey has spoken:thumb

But IMO he's wrong, the answer is no. 3M's plastic if you want to protect the sliders.

Anything else is unnecessary additional, and unsprung, weight. Of course if they divert crap away from the calipers then my considered opinion may change.:)
