bought a 1100gs, have a few question's,?

It's about as minimalist that you could make a GS.

Job well done, it can only look better after you refine it.:thumb2

Looks good. See riverine often have keenly priced bikes on their site, shop. But only offer a month warranty. Be interested on your feedback and dealings with them

You know...the more I look at it the more I like it.infact I,m tempted to go get my angle grinder out.without bikes like this roaming the streets the world would be a boring place.:thumb

and the original question was about after market exhaust and cast wheels :D

Nice job :thumb

An object lesson in how to turn a decent looking bike into a pile of worthless scrap...

Each to their own I suppose.

I really like the look of the standard 1100 (I would :D), but think a project with a scrap bike into a yummy cafe racer, preferably with polished alloy tank, rear sets and flat bars :thumby:

i could'nt get to the end of the road with flat bar's and rear-set's, gammy knee + bad back, i used to ride triumph's with clipon's, rear-set's, but that was 40 year's ago, i know cafe racer's look nice, but for riding any distance, not for me now,,

Well done mate,top job that.

I've got more time for people like you, that get off their arse and actually make something for themselves, rather than form a queue at touratwat for the latest useless piece of crap that will do nothing except make their bike weigh more.

How do you get on with no mudguards,or haven't you crossed that bridge yet?

If you run foul with that exhaust, let me know,as I have a 3" slash cut stainless "thing" under the bench doing nothing. You'll need a remus centre box to fit it though.

Wanna sell the leftovers...

Cos there are plenty of would-be takers on here...luggage, seats, beaks and lights and plastics- no problem,
I love your bike- its just great. It will really get up some people's noses. Wonderful.
Bet it goes really quick with all the weight removed.
