It's not ruined at all. It's just what he wants.

Leaving aside the looks of the thing, it's not even like it's well engineered.
The seat (better ergonomics were cited as the reason for the conversion - is that really going to be comfortable for more than a trip to the corner shop?), the exposed rear shock top mount waiting to mince your knackers, no mudguards, dodgy lights, footrests made of scrap iron cunningly designed to make servicing more difficult, hacked about over long brake and gear levers with huge throws, cheap air filters and a crappy exhaust - dare you to take that on a decent motorway run and not destroy the valves / pistons - the list is endless. Bear in mind, this was the guy who was going to hang his exhaust off the bottom shock mount...
I'd be bloody amazed if it gets a (non dodgy) MOT in anything like its current state.
I think the servicing issues are to do with dropping the gearbox oil. The only problem for me would have been starting with a decent bike instead of a shitter.passed the mot today, no problem, not a dodgy one either,!!
also set the co2 at 3.56%, so nothing is going to go bang,
no way the top shock mount would interfere with my dangly bit's, if i had a close encounter with a car,
g/lever & brake lever work fine, and what servicing would they make more difficult,?
mudguard's, just more weight,
nothing wrong with the light's, i flick the switch, they go on, flick the switch, they go off,
the ergonomic's i wanted were to move the footrest's forward, to lessen the bend on my knee's plus move the seat rearward, i've also had the same seat style on quite a few of my previous bike's and travelled thousand's of mile's,
guilty on the charge of saying i was going to mount the silencer on the bottom shock mount, just another senior moment,
so your not interested in buying it then,

Have you tried removing the gearbox oil drain plug?and what servicing would they make more difficult,?

when setting the CO pot i rev'd it up quite a bit, it did'nt lean out, but went richer, 8% or so, but i'll keep an eye on the plug's,
Something tells me this blokes completely off his head.lol

Tarka has been usurped!!!
Each to their own and all that, but I hope it's not contagious![]()
