Only had the Zumo for a couple of months so only just started looking at what's available on the site. This thread is superb. A big thank you to Whatton and the others who have posted info. Earlier in the thread Whatton commented that there wasn't a lot available for Spain. I wondered whether the position had changed, especially as regards hotels? I've seen the Parador file, but quite honestly a bit too pricey for my tastes. I've started bookmarking places reccomended in the travel section, but any further information would be very useful. Once again, many thanks for your hard work.

I am trying to load a few of these waypoint files into mapsource
but all the previous waypoints seem to dissapear when I load
up a new file. only letting me load and display one file at a time.
For instance I load up 'etap hotels' place it in the accomadation catagory that I have created, save - load up another waypoint file and all the etap ones dissapear displaying the way points from the new file only.
What am I doing wrong?

Each set of waypoints is a separate Mapsource file.
If you want them all in one big file you need to highlight the waypints in the left hand list and copy them. Then paste them into the file you want them all in.
Have a read of this to get an idea of how Mapsource works

The Garmin page is still saying it's 6.13.4 here http://www8.garmin.com/support/mappingsw.jsp but click on the link and you get http://www8.garmin.com/support/download_details.jsp?id=209 and which does give you 6.13.5

Something for everyone here, 657 waypoints for European passes, tunnels & photo points, covering the Alps, Pyrenees & Italy etc

Please excuse my ignorance in these matters, but is it possible to change these waypoint files into POI files for use on the Zumo.

Save them in Mapsource as GPX, then include that file in your POI-loader directory... they'll be in as POIs

If you mean routes from Autoroute then I use ITN Converter which seems to work OK. Once opened you need to save in Mapsource GPX format and then open in Mapsource, then right click the route in the left pane and select 'Recalculate'.
BTW, I think you should have started a new thread as it's not really that relevant a question on this one.
