I believe they only do then for the WC variant, not any older models (I've got a TC)!

Interesting idea, but could that cause disk damage on hot disks ? (warping due to different cooling aspects). I guess with the roadlok there is a bit more time between stopping and adding the lock.

For me its Biketrac all the way now on any new bike, leave the bike anywhere and don't worry about it (I like to do overnights at Hotels/B&B's). Only danger is the scrotes find the tracker and remove it before they are found (which I believe happened on a bike in London). Having a faired bike I think this is less likely (Ducati Panigale).
