Well Batteried sir??

Hi, when the current battery on my GS1100 does pack in, can I change it for a modern type sealed battery??? or will the engine fall out???
I was a tad surprised to see what looked like the battery out of a '70s Austin allaggro when I raised the hood recently, being a newbie on my first bwm!

Or rather, sealed yes. Your BWM dealer will be only too happy to replace your old style battery with a sealed jobbie, they'll just want 70 quid fro the privilege. I'm sure there must be cheaper alternatives around though.

tobler, ta v mucho 4 this, I agree £70 squids a lot and I guess I can do better by shopping around, as long as battery capacity, amps etc are (is?) simliar, let us hope the current (sorry could NOT resist it!) one lasts a while longer

Get a Hawker battery from TT, had one on my last ped & work great.
