Last year I was asked to justify why I only employed locals and no Polish /Kiwi /Australians etc :blast

I always think its funny at places like the Spittal or the Calchaig where the staff wear Kilts, hearing the multi national accents. Its out of place.

Seems relevant to this post !

A man is cupping his hand to scoop water from a Highland burn.

A Gamekeeper shouts,
'Dinnae drink tha waater! Et's foo ae coo's sheet an pish!'

The man replies,
'My Good fellow, I'm from England . Could you repeat that in English for me.'

The keeper replies,

'I said, use two hands - you spill less that way!!!

He's be crazy if he did. He's running a business.

Doesn't alter the fact that 95% of out the 20 BnB owners being English is ridiculous IMO. :(

How many times do you need to be told your whole economy is subsidised by the English:D

Full English you say :augie 1st reply.

As Ronno mentioned, If I'm in England/Ireland/Wales /wherever, I want to experience the local food, beer culture.
Why would anyone want a full English in fecken Morocco or Ballachulish.:blast

Can anyone recommend a Scottish owned B&B that does a full Scottish breakfast near Donington as myself and SWMBO are going to the Motogp

Also one near Brno would be appreciated couldn't be bothered with all the foriegn stuff:D

............
Had a local B&B group in for a meal couple of weeks ago, just over 20 of them. 1 of them with a local accent:(

Similar down at westminster, most of the goverment ministers seem to be Jocks, don't hear many english accents :D

You'll be wanting a full Donington breakfast with that, sir.......

Stop in Corby - there's definitely more Scots there than English. But it's a ferkin dump.

It's a pity that 95% of the low-rise, soulless, concrete blocks that you call bars are not owned by English - some of them could be turned into proper pubs in the right hands.

F.A.B.?
