My 1100 gs was stolen from outside work in Keighley last night. If anyone sees it or parts of it for sale let me know.

I can’t imagine what it feels like to look into an empty space where ones bike was.

Hoping it’s not your prime means of transport.

Thieving bastards.

when my Jota was stolen , i printed up stolen posters , and got them in every shop i could find.

i even gave 1 to a traffic cop , who put it up in his garage at work.

make it HOT .

I had a bike stolen twice many moons ago. Terrible feeling and you really want to harm the scrotes who do this. But I’d rather have never seen it again and that goes for any current bike.

Any luck in getting it back?

never saw it again ...til one day ,10 years later , a bloke came into spares dept , on a shit box thing , i just span the rear wheel around ....and it was my rr wheel ! 3 of us in the shop ...we didn't know him . we knew most Guzzi owners for 100 mile radius ....but not him.

It’s been found!

Had a letter a couple of weeks ago from the police to say it’s been recovered in Leeds. Because the insurance has paid out ages ago it was to be picked up by Copart Auctions and put on sale. They had it up as a cat N damaged repairable saying it was damage from vandalism. From the pictures it looked mostly there (sadly the panniers and rack were missing) with minor things like indicators, tool kit and cover and the ignition switch missing. Luckily I have all/most parts in the garage as I still have my old 1100 which was written off. I won the auction with a bid of £375 plus fees and delivery taking it to £655. :okay

That’s good news. Sort of. Glad you got it back and can rebuild it. :thumb2

The tough part will be finding another pair of Vern's panniers!

Glad that you get it back, hoper that it's mechanically still in good order.

Great news, Jez. Glad to hear you’ve been reunited with it… :thumb2
