All of the threads that pop up on a search for Rev'it Infinity seem to be old, i.e. 08 ish

Who is using one and what are your opinions?

Hi Kevin.

I had one, in fact I had two.

First one leaked and was replaced by Rev'It under warranty. Trouble is second one leaked aswell.

Rev'It have investigated the cause on both suits and have admitted to a fundamental design/materials fault.

As far as I know from Rev'It, the suits were to be withdrawn from sale pending a mkII version, which could be some time off.

Can't fault their customer service, but at £800:00 the suit was not good enough.

I've now gone for a new 'stich with a somewhat heavy heart. I will wear very lightweight RAB breathable overtrousers underneath if I think there is a chance of heavy rain. Strangely enough, because I know the 'stich will leak I won't be that disappointed when it does !

That's really annoying, especially considering how long they delayed the original launch.

What was the actual problem?

I has a pair of Rev-It trousers that leaked badly.
They were exchanged under warranty - was told that a batch had gone through with the seam welding machine set to the wrong temperature.

I have the off road jacket and Turbine trousers , Mrs bhud has the Siren jacket and cant remember the trousers.
Both worked well this weekend under testing conditions heading over the the Skye sortie

Wet crutch and chest !!

The infinity was / is an incredibly comlicated suit to make and pushes fabric and construction techniques to the limits, apparently.

I emailed a revit dealer yesterday about this thread as I was thinking of buying one.
He confirmed that there were problems but he says that the welding process is sorted out and they havn't had any problems since.
I'm still stuck between infinity and Master V though!!!!
