Even though from what I've read here it seems as though my 54 plate Gs1200 will not be involved in the campaign, as the local dealer has now closed how would I be informed if needed?

AFAIK for the 1200GS
chassis numbers ZS91949 to ZS99999
ZU58500 to ZU74499
which I think is 07 and 08 bikes or anything built after Sept 2006(when the 07 bikes where being produced)
Stumpy
Contact any dealer and get them to check your bikes VIN number, they do it online and it shows up any outstanding items.![]()
My bike chassis number falls between ZU58500 to ZU74499 the dealer has told me it is not affected????? Who is correct, Iam of to Germany in 3 weeks and don't want to break down.

Hope it will be OK![]()
Buy a spare then you know it'll be ok
Or ask the dealer if you can borrow one![]()

I no they want me to spend even more money, just nice to have some customer care,... marked it down for EWS Antenna Recall, but looks like there is a supply problem.
EWS Antenna Recall, but looks like there is a supply problem.
Well there was I think it was a shame for you guys to be experiencing this problem
I bought a low milage second hand 07 GSA just over a week ago. Been great to ride. Go out today, put the key in the ignition and "click"! Look at the dash and the red triangle is showing with "brake failure" on constantly. I am new to this so I am not sure what is going on. So I do it again and the same "click" and message. I am thinking it may be the battery, so putit on charge for a bit and turn the key again. This time multiple clicks and "EWS!" sign comes up. Try it again and I go back to one click and the brake message. Charge it a bit, multiple clicks and EWS! You get the idea........
I guess this is the EWS? and not some thing else? Either way bike won't go.....very disappointed indeed as this is my first BM and all my other bikes have been totally reliable!
Its still in warranty, so can I get it fixed at any dealer, as I am a distance from the dealer I purchased off of?
