Only fly in the ointment is the fact the Boss is planning to take up the space on the back seat where I normally keep my food pack up
Just gotta work out how to carry all her "essentials" and my two pairs of socks n shreddies and the tent!

Well after this years dismall performance which consisted of 1 afternoon out and a weekend in Campbelltown (brilliant wee place) I'm pushing the boat out next year. Off to Bolivia in May, (Renting bikes for 2 weeks in La Paz) and doing a mainly off tarmac route. In the summer plan to take in the Western Isles on my VanVan with my lad on his VanVan (That may change depending on midgie population) and then in September down to SE France and maybe even the Route Des Grande Alps...

May also throw in a couple of sessions clowning around with the lads over a few bottles of Jaeger;)

Starting from Toronto solo across Canada and USA to meet Bilko & Co in California and on to Alaska ... after that solo down to Baja, back across the southern states to the Keys then turn north to Toronto ... with a few bits in between ... a perimeter trip you might sáy .. I'll leave the middle for another time :D

Starting in June with a trip to Normandy (try to get booked in at Beaches B&B in Arromanche), end of June off to Austria(checking out the Grossglockner/Nockalmstrasse). Travel via Black Forrest B500(see if I can get down it when it's not pissing down) and back via Vosges. Ferry from Newcastle.
Couple of small run outs with Dalkeith motorrad in September.

We've usually got a rough idea by noo what we're planning but I'm thinkin o packin in this working malarky next year:rob - so if that happens then things is a lot mair flexible:bounce1 - so will need to await an see.
Also planning a long trip to NZ when I retire so, although that'll be during oor winter I'll need to keep it in mind - might ship the GS oot so that taks a while tae get there.
Happy plannin guys:thumb - em awa tae get the GS oot:thumb - looks like the roads are ok the day fir a wee birl:clap

The big 'R' Grizz - you?

Just back from a wee birl round the doors. First ride since fitting the new needle rollers and altering the steering (re-Den,
looks nice but steering light and very very slightly vague. , think i'll drop the head next time the tanks off)
I intend next year to spend as much time north and north west as I can next year and doon aroon Mr Hadrians wa', love that area.

Having been Monsoon-ed off in the middle of Sweden 2011, trying to get up to Nordkap late June. I'm off to Morocco in March!

Me i am hoping to scratch the Nordkapp itch in june 2013
On the cheap (ish as possible) so its camping all the way.

Hmmmmm . . I too have the "Nordcapp Itch", and a tent and I've been to Norway, Sweden & Denmark on the bike before and I enjoy long rides (8,600 miles in 26 days circumnavigating Turkey in 2010) . . .

I'll need to think about that. 2012 has been a disaster for me bike-wise, I must do something interesting in 2013.

Bob.
